Important: Income Certificate vs EWS Certificate

Students should not confuse the Income Certificate with the EWS Certificate, as they serve different purposes.

Income Certificate:
Candidates seeking applicable tuition fee reimbursement should submit an Income Certificate. The notification specifies that the certificate should be issued on or after January 1, 2023.

EWS Certificate:
Candidates claiming EWS reservation must submit a valid EWS Certificate for 2026–27.

Therefore, an Income Certificate should not be treated as a substitute for an EWS Certificate, and vice versa.

Conditions to Be Satisfied for APEAPCET 2026 Bi.P.C Admissions

Candidates must satisfy the prescribed eligibility conditions before participating in counselling.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have passed Intermediate or an equivalent examination from recognised boards such as CBSE, ICSE, National Open School or APOSS.

Minimum Marks

The required minimum aggregate in the relevant group subjects is:

  • OC candidates – 45%
  • BC/SC/ST candidates – 40%

Candidates must also satisfy the prescribed AP Local/Non-Local status conditions.

Age Requirement

For Engineering and Pharmacy undergraduate courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age by December 31, 2026.

For Pharm-D, candidates should have completed 17 years of age by December 31, 2026.

Local Candidate Requirement

As per the notification, 85% of seats are reserved for AP Local candidates, while the remaining 15% seats are unreserved, subject to the prescribed eligibility conditions.

Vocational Candidates

Candidates who completed Intermediate Vocational along with the Bridge Course can be considered for the specified B.Tech courses, including Biotechnology, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Agricultural Engineering and Pharmaceutical Engineering.

However, these candidates are not eligible for B.Pharmacy and Pharm-D.

Certificate Verification Conditions

Candidates whose certificates are successfully verified online and whose details are correct can proceed to web options.

Candidates who have data corrections or certificate-verification issues may need to approach the designated Help Line Centre with the required original certificates and photocopies.

Applicable special-category candidates must attend physical certificate verification at the designated centre on the scheduled date.
