Failure to report within the stipulated time will result in cancellation of the allotted seat.
Updating of Joining Details by Colleges
The respective colleges will update the joining details of admitted candidates on August 8, 2026, marking the completion of the Final Phase admission process.
Internal Sliding
After the completion of the Final Phase, the Convenor will conduct Centralized Internal Sliding for University and Private Unaided Engineering Colleges. Candidates who have reported after the Final Phase are eligible to participate. Through Internal Sliding, candidates can exercise options for other branches within the same college against the leftover vacancies. Candidates allotted seats through Internal Sliding are eligible for Tuition Fee Reimbursement. No cancellations or dropouts are permitted after Internal Sliding.
Centralized Internal Sliding by Convenor
Candidates who have already joined after the Final Phase are eligible for Internal Sliding, which allows them to shift to another branch within the same college based on merit and availability of seats. Candidates can exercise options for internal sliding from August 12 to August 13, 2026. Tuition Fee Reimbursement is applicable for eligible candidates who are allotted a new branch through internal sliding.
Freezing of Options
Candidates must freeze their options on or before August 13, 2026 after carefully verifying their branch preferences. Once frozen, no further changes will be allowed in internal sliding options.
Provisional Allotment
The provisional allotment under Internal Sliding will be released on or before August 15, 2026. Candidates should check the allotment result and download the new allotment order if a branch change is allotted.
Self-Reporting and Reporting at College
Candidates who receive a new branch through internal sliding must complete self-reporting through the website and report to the newly allotted branch within the same college between August 16 and August 17, 2026. Failure to report within the given time will lead to cancellation of the allotment.
Spot Admissions
Spot Admissions for private unaided engineering colleges will begin from August 16, 2026 for remaining vacancies after internal sliding. The list of vacancies will be displayed on the college notice board, and colleges will issue separate notifications regarding spot admission schedules. The exact dates for spot admissions will be announced by the respective colleges.
Spot admissions will be conducted based on merit, eligibility, and availability of seats as per college-level admission guidelines.
Step 1: Vacancy List
- Colleges display remaining seats on notice board
Step 2: Apply at College Level
- Candidates directly go to college
- Submit certificates + apply for available seats
Step 3: Merit-Based Selection
- Seats are given based on:
- EAPCET rank (first preference)
- Sometimes non-qualified candidates if seats remain
Step 4: Final Admission
- Pay fee directly to college
- Join immediately if selected
IMPORTANT POINTS
- Internal sliding = only branch change in same college
- Spot admission = last chance for leftover seats
- After final phase + sliding, no online counselling control remains fully centralized
