1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – 400 Marks 

The PET consists of four events, each worth a maximum of 100 marks. Performance is scored using official Conversion Tables/Norms approved by the TG PECET Committee.

Note: You must choose either Long Jump or High Jump during registration; this choice cannot be changed at the test center. 

2. Skill Test in Games – 100 Marks

Candidates must select one game from a specified list during the application process. Subject experts award marks based on the candidate’s proficiency in that game. 

  • Eligible Games: Cricket, Football, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Basketball, Volleyball, Handball, Hockey, Tennis, Shuttle Badminton, and Ball Badminton. 

3. Incentive Marks (Bonus)

Additional marks are added to your total score if you hold recognized sports certificates: 

  • International Participation: Up to 100 Marks.
  • National/Inter-University Medal: 30 to 75 Marks (Gold/Silver/Bronze).
  • State/Zonal Level Medal: 10 to 20 Marks.
  • NCC/Yoga/Other Certificates: 5 Marks for NCC “C” (D.P.Ed) or “B” (B.P.Ed). 

4. Qualifying Criteria:

  • Minimum Score: Candidates (General/BC) must secure at least 30% (150 out of 500) to be eligible for ranking.
  • SC/ST Candidates: There are no minimum qualifying marks for ranking. 

Objection Process:

Candidates who identify discrepancies in the TG PECET 2026 Preliminary Answer Key can formally challenge it during a brief objection window, typically lasting 2–3 days after the key is released in June 2026.

How to Raise Objections:

The process is handled entirely online through the official TG PECET portal

  1. Map Question IDs: Compare the 10-digit Question ID from your response sheet with the Master Question Paper for your session.
  2. Access the Portal: Log in with your Hall Ticket NumberRegistration Number, and Date of Birth.

Important Guidelines:

  • One-Time Submission: Multiple challenges can be made, but they must be submitted together, as subsequent modifications are usually not allowed.
  • Validity & Finality: Objections based on unverified online content (e.g., blogs, YouTube) will be rejected. If the expert committee upholds your challenge, the fee is typically refunded. No further objections are accepted after the Final Answer Key is released.
