GATE 2026 – IIT Guwahati has revised the GATE 2026 registration dates on the official website gate2026.iitg.ac.in. As per the notification, GATE 2026 application forms will start from August 25, 2025. Candidates are advised to check GATE 2026 eligibility before applying. Students have to select the exam centres for GATE 2026 while applying for the exam. The last date to submit GATE 2026 application form without late fee is September 28, 2025, while the last date with late fee is October 9, 2025. Candidates can download the GATE 2026 syllabus online for all 30 papers. The authority will conduct the GATE entrance exam on February 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2026. GATE 2026 Exam Notification
IIT Guwahati has released the GATE 2026 exam notification on August 5, 2025. Based on the GATE notification, the registration process will begin on August 28, 2025 and end on September 28, 2025. The GATE exam notification also contains the exam date, eligibility and list of subjects. The detailed brochure will be released soon. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is conducted for PG admissions in IITs, IISc and various universities and colleges across India. GATE qualified candidates can also apply for PSU recruitment through GATE 2026. This exam will be conducted for 30 subjects.

GATE 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to apply for exam have to meet the GATE 2026 IIT Guwahati eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for GATE exam 2026 specify certain conditions that have to be met to appear for the exam.
- Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of India. Moreover, NRIs who fulfil the eligibility conditions can also appear for IIT Guwahati GATE 2026.
- Education Qualifications: Candidates who have completed a Bachelor’s degree or are in the 3rd / higher years of any undergraduate degree program in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, or Humanities can apply for the GATE 2026 exam.
- Age Limit for GATE exam: There are no age criteria.
