AP Degree First Phase Seat Allotment OUT
The AP Degree Admissions 2026 Phase 1 Seat Allotment Result was released on September 7, 2026. The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has announced the Phase 1 Seat Allotment Result for candidates who participated in the AP Degree Admissions (OAMDC) 2026 counselling process.
The AP Degree Admissions 2026-27 process covers various undergraduate programmes, including B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., BBA, BCA, B.Voc., and other eligible UG courses. The Phase 1 Seat Allotment has been prepared based on factors such as Intermediate/Class 12 marks, candidate preferences, reservation rules, and seat availability across participating colleges and courses.
Candidates who have received a Phase 1 seat allotment must complete the college reporting process from September 8 to September 12, 2026. Students should report to the allotted college within the prescribed dates and complete all necessary admission formalities to confirm their admission.

AP Degree Admissions 2026-27: 37.91% Seats Filled in First Phase
In the first phase of AP Degree Admissions Counselling 2026-27, 37.91% of the available seats have been filled across the state.
Under the convenor quota, a total of 3.80 lakh seats were available. Out of these, 1.57 lakh students registered for the counselling process, while 1.49 lakh students exercised their web options. Following the allotment process, 1.44 lakh students were allotted seats.These details were released on Monday by Higher Education Department Convenor Dr. C. Krishna. He advised candidates who have secured seats to join their allotted colleges by September 10, 2026.

AP Degree Admissions (OAMDC) 2026
The Commissionerate of Higher Education (CHE), Government of Andhra Pradesh, has officially launched the Online Degree Admission Process (OAMDC) 2026-27 for admissions into undergraduate degree courses offered by Government, Aided, Private Aided, and Private Unaided Degree Colleges across Andhra Pradesh.
The admission process is conducted through a centralized online counselling system, ensuring transparent, merit-based, and hassle-free admissions for eligible Intermediate (10+2) passed students. Candidates can apply online, upload certificates, exercise web options, and secure admission to participating colleges through a single online portal.

AP Degree Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must satisfy the following eligibility conditions to participate in AP Degree (OAMDC) Counselling 2026:
Educational Qualification
- Candidates should have passed the Intermediate (10+2) examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, or any equivalent examination recognized by the competent authority.
- Candidates must have secured the minimum qualifying marks prescribed for the respective course.
Local / Non-Local Status
Applicants must satisfy the Local or Non-Local status requirements as per G.O.Ms. No. 38, Higher Education (EC) Department, dated June 30, 2026.
AP Degree Admission Reservation Policy 2026
The seat allotment will follow the reservation policy prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
- 85% of the available seats are reserved for Local Candidates belonging to the Andhra University (AU) and Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) local areas.
- 15% of the seats are treated as Unreserved (Non-Local) Seats, where both local and non-local candidates are eligible to compete.
The unreserved category also includes candidates (or whose parents) who have resided in Andhra Pradesh continuously or cumulatively for at least 10 years, excluding the period spent outside the state for education or employment.

How to Pay AP Degree Registration Fee 2026
Follow the steps below to complete the processing fee payment:
Step 1: Visit the Common Admissions Portal (CAP).
Step 2: Click on the “Pay Processing Fee” option.
Step 3: Enter the required registration details.
Step 4: Verify the entered information and click “Proceed to Payment.”
Step 5: Choose your preferred payment method (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI).
Step 6: Complete the payment successfully.
Step 7: Download and save the Payment Acknowledgement/Receipt for future reference.
Important Instructions Regarding Fee Payment
- After clicking “Proceed to Payment,” candidates will be redirected to the secure payment gateway.
- Applicable bank or transaction charges will be levied based on the selected payment method.
- Due to network or banking issues, payment confirmation may sometimes be delayed even if the amount has been debited from the account.
- If the payment is unsuccessful, candidates may have to make the payment again to complete the registration process.
- In case of duplicate payment, the excess amount will generally be refunded to the original payment account within seven (7) working days.
- If the refund is not credited within seven working days, candidates should immediately contact the nearest Help Line Centre (HLC) for assistance regarding the refund process.
Registration and Certificate Verification
- After successfully filling the application form and paying the prescribed processing fee, the Application Number will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID provided during registration.
- Candidates whose certificates are successfully verified through web services can directly proceed with web options entry as per the counselling schedule.
- If the uploaded certificate details are incomplete or invalid, an SMS notification will be sent requesting the candidate to attend certificate verification.
- Candidates can also visit a Help Line Centre (HLC) between 06.08.2026 and 18.08.2026 for certificate verification or clarification, if required.
- By entering the Application Number, Date of Birth, and One-Time Password (OTP), candidates can access and exercise their web options.
- Candidates claiming reservation under PWD, CAP, NCC, Sports, or Extra-Curricular Activities must attend physical certificate verification at the designated Help Line Centre on the scheduled dates notified for Degree Admissions 2026-27.
Important Instructions
- Candidates must complete the online application and exercise web options to be considered for seat allotment.
- There are 27 Help Line Centres (HLCs) established across Andhra Pradesh to assist candidates during the admission process.
