The remaining 15% of seats shall be treated as unreserved seats, which include the following categories:
- (i) All candidates eligible to be declared as local candidates of O.U. Area
- (ii) Candidates who have resided in the State for a total period of ten years, excluding study periods outside the State, or candidates whose parents have resided in the State for ten years, excluding employment outside the State
- (iii) Candidates whose parents are employed in State Government, Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities, and other similar quasi-public institutions within the State
- (iv) Candidates who are spouses of employees working in State Government, Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities, educational institutions recognized by the Government or competent authority, and similar quasi-government institutions within the State
Age Criteria
- For Undergraduate Professional Courses in Engineering (including Technology) and Pharmacy, the candidate should have completed 16 years of age as on 31-12-2026
- For Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy) course, the candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2026
Scholarship Age Limit
The maximum eligible age for obtaining scholarship is:
- 25 years for OC candidates
- 29 years for other category candidates
