How To Register For AP ICET Counselling 2026?
Students can follow the steps given below to register for the AP ICET Counselling 2026:
- Go to the official APSCHE website for counseling, icet-sche.aptonline.in, to begin the process.
- After selecting the “Candidate Registration” tab, enter your date of birth and AP ICET hall ticket number to log in.
- Complete the online application form with the necessary academic and personal information, then double-check your answers.
- Upload all required files in the appropriate formats, including caste certificates and mark sheets.
- Use a credit card, debit card, or net banking to pay the counseling registration cost online.
- A confirmation will be sent to you as soon as the payment is successful. For future use, keep the payment reference ID handy.
- Lastly, print a copy of your filled-out application for your files and future reference.
Eligibility Criteria for Counselling
To participate in the AP ICET 2026 admission process, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Qualifying Marks:Ā General category candidates must have secured at leastĀ 25% marksĀ (50 out of 200) in the entrance exam. For SC/ST candidates, there is no minimum qualifying mark.
- Academic Qualification:Ā A minimum ofĀ 50% aggregate marksĀ in graduation for OC/BC candidates andĀ 45%Ā for SC/ST/PH categories.
- Nationality:Ā Candidates must be Indian nationals and satisfy the Local/Non-Local status as per AP education regulations.
Step-by-Step Counselling Process
The AP ICET admission process is entirely online and follows these critical stages:
1. Registration and Fee Payment
Candidates must visit the official portal and pay the non-refundable processing fee.
- OC/BC Candidates:Ā ā¹1,200/-
- SC/ST/PH Candidates:Ā ā¹600/- Payment can be made via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
2. Certificate Verification
Once the fee is paid, candidates must upload scanned copies of their original documents. For most candidates, verification is done online based on the data provided during the exam registration. However, candidates with special categories (NCC, CAP, Sports, or PH) may need to attend physical verification at designated Help Line Centres (HLCs).
3. Exercising Web Options
This is the most crucial stage. Candidates must log in using their Hall Ticket number and Date of Birth to select their preferred colleges and courses.
- Tip:Ā Give as many options as possible to increase the chances of allotment.
- Priority:Ā Arrange colleges in descending order of your preference.
4. Seat Allotment
APSCHE will release the allotment order based on the candidateās rank, category, local area, and the options exercised. Candidates can download the Provisional Allotment Order from the website.
5. Reporting and Self-Reporting
After allotment, candidates must perform āSelf-Reportingā through the website and then physically report to the allotted college with the allotment order and fee challenge. Both steps are mandatory to secure the seat.
