Eligibility Criteria for TG PGECET Counselling 2026

• Must have qualified TG PGECET 2026, OR be a GATE/GPAT-qualified candidate of 2024, 2025, or 2026.
• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy discipline from a recognised university.
• Must satisfy local/non-local status requirements as per the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974, as amended, and applicable Telangana Government Orders.
• 85% of convener-quota seats in each course are reserved for local candidates of the Osmania University (O.U.) Area; the remaining 15% are unreserved (open) seats.

Step 1: Online Registration – Detailed Process

How to pay the fee:

1. After completing the registration form, you will be redirected to the payment gateway page.
2. Choose your preferred payment mode – Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking (as specified by the official portal; UPI availability may vary – confirm the exact modes shown on your payment screen).
3. Enter your payment details and authorise the transaction (OTP verification via your registered mobile number/bank).
4. On successful payment, a transaction ID and payment receipt will be generated – download and save this immediately; it also gets emailed to your registered email ID.
5. If the amount is debited but the transaction shows as failed or the receipt is not generated, do not make a second payment immediately. Wait for a few hours and check your registration status by logging in again; contact the helpline number given on the portal if the amount was deducted but registration is not confirmed.
6. The fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including if you do not participate in further counselling steps.
7. The fee payment is phase-specific – if you participate in a later phase (Phase 2 or the M.Pharmacy/Pharm.D phase separately), you must pay the fee again; it does not carry forward.

Step 4: Web Options Entry – Detailed Process (13 to 15 July 2026)

There is generally no upper limit (or a very high limit) on the number of options you can add — candidates are strongly advised to add as many realistic options as possible (ideally covering a wide rank range of colleges, not just top choices) to maximise the chance of allotment in this phase itself.
5. Arrange your list strictly by genuine preference: college and branch you want most should be Option 1, and so on.
6. Once you’ve added all desired options, use the reorder/rearrange feature on the dashboard to fine-tune the priority sequence before final submission.
7. Click Save after adding options – this does not lock them yet.
8. On or before 15 July 2026, click Freeze/Submit Options to lock in your list for Phase 1 processing. (Some candidates confuse “Save” with final submission – make sure you complete the submission action, not just the save action, or your options may not be considered for allotment.)
