Eligibility Criteria for TG EAPCET 2027

Aspirants must satisfy nationality, domicile, age, and academic qualifications before applying:

• Nationality & Domicile: Candidates must be Indian Nationals / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirements in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh under state quota regulations.
• Age Limit:
  • Engineering & Pharmacy Streams: Minimum 16 years of age as of December 31 of the admission year (no upper age limit for most courses).
  • Agriculture & Allied Streams: Minimum 17 years of age (upper age limit of 22 years for general and 25 years for SC/ST candidates applies to select courses).
• Academic Qualifications:
  • Must have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2) conducted by the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education or any equivalent exam recognized by the board.
  • Engineering: Minimum 45% aggregate marks in group subjects (MPC: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) for general category; 40% marks for reserved categories (SC/ST/BC).
  • Agriculture & Pharmacy: Minimum 45% aggregate marks in group subjects (BiPC: Biology, Physics, Chemistry) for general category; 40% marks for reserved categories.

Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme

The exam will be held across multiple shifts in online Computer-Based Test (CBT) format. Question papers are available in bilingual formats (English/Telugu or English/Urdu).

Qualifying Marks & Rank Determination

• General / BC Candidates: Must secure at least 25% marks (40 out of 160) to qualify and obtain a state merit rank.
• SC / ST Candidates: No minimum qualifying marks are mandated; all candidates who appear will be assigned a rank.
• Merit Calculation: The merit rank is calculated based 100% on normalized CBT marks across shifts. Intermediate board examination marks are not factored into the rank calculation.

1. Fee Payment: Visit tgeapcet.nic.in or follow the application link via Manabadi, select the stream (Engineering, Agriculture/Pharmacy, or Both), and pay the registration fee via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI or TS Online centres.
2. Payment Verification: Check your payment status using your transaction ID and mobile number.
