- 85% seats are reserved for local candidates of Andhra Pradesh
- 15% seats are unreserved and open to both local and non-local candidates
Local status is determined based on study or residence in Andhra Pradesh for a specified period.
Special Category Reservations
Additional reservations are provided for:
- NCC candidates
- Sports quota
- Children of Armed Personnel (CAP)
- Differently-abled (PH) candidates
- Anglo-Indian category (if applicable)
