Medicine is all about saving
lives. And so physicians and surgeons serve a fundamental role in the society
lending that healing tough to our lives. They diagnose illness, prescribe and
administer treatment for people suffering from injury or disease. Physicians
examine patients, obtain medical histories and order, perform and interpret
diagnostic tests. Hygiene and preventive healthcare.
The job
Doctor work in one or more of
nearly 60 different specialties, including but not limited to
anesthesiology,family and general
medicine, general internal medicine, general pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology,
pathology, radiology, psychiatry and surgery, to name a few, Being a physician
is difficult yet rewarding. A long arduous, expensive process that can only be
accomplished with great dedication.
The career
Doctors rarely complain of being
bored, and very few doctors are unemployed, you will have a qualification that
can open doors to work around the world, with the prospect of finding a secure
job quite readily when you return. You will be reasonably well pain with the
long-term career and pension prospects being excellent. But medicine is
demanding. The student experience will be longer and more intense than in most
other subjects. You will have to learn to cope with pressure. As qualified
doctors you will be taking overall responsibility for the health of people in
your care. It is a serious vocation, one of the most serious ones.

There is no single set of
characteristics that make a good doctor. As in any strong team, it needs
players with different aptitude that complement each other. Some qualities that
