Mandatory Cutoff & Eligibility Metrics
Admission clearance requires structural fulfillment of both exam performance and academic background thresholds:
1. Test Score Cutoff
Open Category (OC) / Backward Classes (BC): Must secure a minimum of 25% normalized marks (50 out of 200 total marks) in the TG ICET 2026 entrance test.
Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST): No minimum qualifying cutoff score applies. Securing a non-zero state rank validates entry eligibility.
2. Academic Qualification
General Candidates: Must have completed a 3-year UGC-recognized Bachelor’s Degree (excluding Oriental Languages) with an aggregate score of at least 50% marks.
Reserved Candidates (SC/ST/BC): Must have completed their undergraduate degree with an aggregate score of at least 45% marks.
The system processes candidate files sequentially. Missing or mis-ordering tasks cancels technical access to subsequent stages.
Step 1: Filing of Basic Information
Navigate to the official web portal: tgicet.nic.in. Select the “Candidate Registration” action tab. Enter your TG ICET 2026 Hall Ticket Number, TG ICET Registration Number, Date of Birth, and State Rank. Verify the synchronized profile and provide a primary, active mobile number and email ID to generate your secure pipeline.
Step 2: Payment of Processing Fee
Submit the non-refundable web counselling operational fee via the secure integrated payment gateway using Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.
Unreserved / OBC Categories (OC/BC): โน1,200/-
Reserved Categories (SC/ST/PH): โน600/-
Upon transaction verification, the system will instantly dispatch a unique Counselling Login ID to your registered mobile number via SMS.
Step 3: Online Slot Booking
Access the slot booking sub-portal. Select a designated regional Help Line Centre (HLC) from the state drop-down menu alongside a specific target date and precise time-window slot. Print the generated Slot Booking Slip. Note: Candidates cannot obtain physical document authentication without an active booked slot receipt.
Step 4: Attendance at Help Line Centre (HLC)
Report physically to your assigned HLC exactly 15 minutes before your booked time slot window. Present all required original certifications alongside two complete sets of self-attested photocopies. The verification officers will map your physical certificates against the digital ledger database. Once cleared, you will receive an official, stamped Receipt of Certificates (ROC) Form.
Reporting to Allotted Colleges (Physical Verification)
Once the initial web seat allocation window layout is generated, candidates must undergo a strict two-stage verification process to secure their admission.
Online Self-Reporting & Fee Payment: Candidates must first log in to the portal to pay the prescribed tuition fee using an online challan. After successful payment, click on the “Self-Reporting System” button to generate your digital Joining Report.
On-Campus Physical Verification: Candidates must physically visit the campus of their newly allotted college before the specified deadline. You must submit the original Transfer Certificate (TC), the printed Joining Report, and the online Fee Payment Challan receipt to the college administration.
Document Retention: The college will physically verify your original academic records against the HLC-issued ROC form. The institution will temporarily retain your original certificates to confirm your enrollment and finalize your registration with the respective university.
Special Phase & Institutional Spot Admissions
After the completion of the regular first and final phases of counselling, leftover vacancy lists are released for the Special Phase and Institutional Spot Admissions.
The Special Phase: This online round is specifically opened for candidates who did not secure a seat in previous phases, those who had their allotments cancelled due to reporting delays, or those seeking immediate course upgrades.
Institutional Spot Admissions: For remaining vacant seats in private unaided MBA and MCA institutions, colleges are permitted to conduct direct Spot Admissions on their respective campuses.
Spot Admission Eligibility: Internal candidates who qualified the TG ICET 2026 are given first priority. However, if seats remain vacant, institutions are legally permitted to admit students who did not appear for the TG ICET, provided they satisfy the baseline undergraduate aggregate marks requirement (50% for OC, 45% for reserved categories).
Note: Candidates admitted under the Institutional Spot Admission quota are explicitly ineligible for the Telangana State Tuition Fee Reimbursement Scheme.
SSC (10th Class) Marks Memo or equivalent certificate (Legal proof of Date of Birth)
Intermediate (10+2) Marks Memo or equivalent cumulative score sheet
Degree Provisional Certificate (PC) and Consolidated Marks Memo (CMM)
Institutional Study / Bonafide Certificates: From Class 9 continuously through to your graduation degree (critical to determine local status under local/non-local state quotas)
Transfer Certificate (TC): Issued by the last institution attended
Income Certificate: Must be issued by a competent MRO/Tahsildar on or after January 1, 2026 (mandatory for processing the Telangana State Tuition Fee Reimbursement Scheme)
Integrated Community Certificate (Caste Certificate): Issued by competent Telangana authorities via Meeseva (mandatory for claiming BC/SC/ST category reservations)
EWS Certificate (if applicable): Valid Income and Asset Certificate issued by a Tahsildar for the current financial year to claim the 10% Economically Weaker Sections quota.
The Final Reporting Rule
Important Alert: If you secure an allocation in Phase 1, you must complete Online Self-Reporting (confirming acceptance via the portal and paying the online fee) within the stated deadline. If you want to try for a better college in the Final Phase, you can still participate while holding this seat only if you self-reported online. If you fail to complete the online self-reporting step on time, your Phase 1 seat is automatically cancelled and released back into the open seat pool.
Conclusion
The TG ICET Counselling Process 2026 demands precise attention to schedules, rapid slot bookings, and a clear understanding of the final reporting rules. With thousands of students competing for top slots in premium MBA and MCA institutions across Telangana, a systematic approach prevents minor data errors from derailing your academic year. Ensure all your local certificates, and especially the valid 2026 Income certificate, are completely aligned with regulatory parameters prior to visiting your Help Line Centre or reporting to your final allotted campus.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q1: What happens if I miss the physical reporting deadline at the college?
If you complete online self-reporting but fail to physically report to the allotted college with your original certificates (including your Transfer Certificate) before the deadline, your seat allocation is automatically cancelled, and you will have to re-apply in the subsequent Special or Spot Admission rounds.
Q2: Can I get fee reimbursement if I get admission through Spot Admissions?
No. According to the structural state rules issued by the TGCHE, candidates who secure admission through Institutional Spot Admissions are completely ineligible for the Jagananna Vidya Deevena / Telangana State Tuition Fee Reimbursement schemes, even if they hold a valid income certificate.
Q3: What is the difference between online self-reporting and physical reporting?
Online self-reporting is an intermediate security step where you pay the tuition fee online to reserve your seat in the system. Physical reporting is the final operational step where you submit your actual certificates to the college campus to lock in your enrollment.
Q4: Who is eligible to participate in the TG ICET Special Phase?
The Special Phase is open to candidates who have not been allocated a seat in Phase 1 or the Final Phase, those who rejected their previous allocations, or qualified test takers who missed the initial registration phases entirely.

Begin by visiting the official AEEE/CSAP portal through the Amrita admissions website. Candidates must use the registered email ID or mobile number submitted during the AEEE application process. This portal serves as the central platform for counselling registration, seat allotment, fee payment, and admission updates. It is advisable to keep your AEEE rank card or JEE Main percentile details ready before starting.
Log In Using Registered Credentials Sign in using your registered login credentials and complete OTP verification for secure access. New applicants may need to create a counselling profile if prompted. Ensure all personal information, academic details, and contact information are accurate, as future communication regarding allotment and admission will depend on this data. Multiple registrations are generally discouraged and may lead to complications.
Pay the Counselling Registration Fee Candidates must pay the non-refundable CSAP registration fee (approximately โน5,000) through the online payment gateway. Payment can usually be made via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. Registration is considered complete only after successful payment confirmation, so students should save payment receipts for future reference.

Amrita allows applicants to choose multiple campus-branch options in order of preference, often up to dozens of choices. Students should carefully prioritize options such as Coimbatore CSE, Bengaluru AI, Chennai Data Science, etc., based on rank trends, budget, scholarship possibilities, and career goals.
Upload Academic Documents Candidates must upload scanned copies of required documents, including: Class 10 certificate Class 12-mark sheet/provisional certificate AEEE rank card or JEE Main scorecard Passport-size photograph Identity proof Category certificate (if applicable) Document verification is mandatory, and incomplete uploads may lead to counselling disqualification.
Submit the Application Form Once all details are verified, submit the counselling application. Review all entries carefully before final submission, as incorrect information may affect seat allotment eligibility.
Participate in Trial Allotment Amrita releases a trial allotment round before final seat allotment. This mock round helps candidates understand potential seat outcomes based on their current preferences and rank. Students can modify, reorder, or optimize their choices after reviewing trial allotment results to improve chances of securing better branches or campuses.
Lock Final Choices After making any desired modifications, candidates must lock their final choices before the deadline. Failure to lock preferences may result in automatic processing based on the last saved options, which could impact admission outcomes.
Download Seat Allotment Letter Once official seat allotment results are declared, candidates can log in to download their allotment letter. This document contains: Allotted campus Branch details Scholarship slab (if applicable) Tuition fee amount Reporting deadlines This letter is essential for confirming admission.
Pay Tuition Fee to Confirm Admission Candidates must pay the initial tuition fee or seat acceptance fee within the specified deadline to secure their allotted seat. Failure to complete payment may result in seat cancellation. Depending on counselling strategy, students may choose:
