AEEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Students must check eligibility carefully before applying for AEEE 2026. The criteria are:

1. Educational Qualification

  • A pass in 10 + 2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with at least 50% each of these three subjects

Candidates appearing in any one of the following examinations are eligible to secure admission in B.Tech at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham:

  • 1. The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central / State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) or any other Board accepted by Amrita as equivalent to 10+2 examination.
  • 2. Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board or University.
  • 3. General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
  • 4. High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
  • 5. Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with minimum of 5 subjects as recognized by central board.

2. Age Limit

  • Candidates whose date of birth falls between 1st July 2004 and 30th June 2010.

3. Nationality

  • Indian citizens, NRI, OCI, and PIO candidates are eligible.

4. Admission Through JEE Main

  • Amrita also accepts JEE Main 2026 scores for B.Tech admission.
  • Students can apply with AEEE only, JEE only, or both.

  • There is no specific rank range required to avail the scholarship.
