Step-by-Step Karnataka NEET UG Counselling Process

Candidates must complete the following stages to secure admission:

Step 1: Online Registration

Register on the KEA UGNEET portal using your NEET UG 2026 details.

Step 2: NEET Roll Number Linkage

Candidates who previously registered through UGCET 2026 must link their NEET roll number instead of submitting a fresh application.

Book a verification slot and attend physical document verification. After successful verification, KEA will issue a Verification Slip containing a Secret Key required for option entry.

Step 4: Choice Filling (Option Entry)

Select and prioritize your preferred medical colleges and courses. Candidates can enter multiple choices.

Step 5: Mock Seat Allotment

KEA releases a mock allotment to help candidates review their likely seat. Candidates can modify or reorder their choices before final allotment.

Step 6: Final Seat Allotment

Seats are allotted based on NEET rank, reservation, and choices filled by candidates.

Step 7: College Reporting

Download the allotment letter, pay the prescribed fee, and report to the allotted college with original certificates.

  • Non-Karnataka candidates are eligible only for Open, Private, and NRI quota seats in private medical colleges.
