AP TET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates appearing for the exam must check if they full details the AP TET eligibility criteria 2025. The AP TET eligibility criteria also depends on the level of the exam the candidate is appearing for. Candidates who clear the AP TET 2025 exam will be eligible to apply for teaching positions in government schools in Andhra Pradesh. APTET Age limit: Candidates must be above 18 years and there is no upper age limit.
AP TET Educational qualifications (Paper 1)
- Intermediate (or Senior Secondary) with at least 50% marks and must be in the final year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) program. (or)
- 50% marks in Graduation (or) Post Graduation with B.Ed.(or)
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and a one-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree. (or)
- Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a four-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed degree.
AP TET Educational qualifications (Paper 2)
- Candidates with a minimum of 50% marks in four years of B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed (or)
- Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s of Education (B.Ed Special Education)/ Bachelor’s of Education (B.Ed) course.
- Candidates who have a graduation degree in Bachelor’s of Oriental Language or its equivalent or concerned language as one of the optional subjects or a bachelor’s degree in literature or post-graduation in the concerned language.
- Candidates must have a Language Pandit Training Certificate/B.Ed degree in the concerned language as one of the methodologies
AP TET 2025 Application Form
AP TET Application process for the exam begins at the time of notification release or a few days after the release. The AP TET exam fee will be Rs 750 for each paper and can also be paid through the cse.ap.gov.in website. After submitting the AP TET Application form, no changes can be made in the application later. Candidates will have to pay Rs 750 and fill a new application form.
Steps to fill the AP TET application form 2025
- Visit the official AP TET website aptet.apcfss.in.
- Click on the Apply Online link for the AP TET exam.
- Fill in the required details like personal information, educational qualifications, exam preferences, and uploading scanned documents.
- Pay the application fee.
- Submit the completed AP TET application form.
- Download or print out the AP TET 2025 application form for future reference.
AP TET 2025 Syllabus
The AP TET syllabus 2025 will be released on the official website a few days after the notification release. The detailed AP TET syllabus will be available on cse.ap.gov.in. AP TET Paper 1 (A & B)

- Language 1 – Telugu, Urdu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Odia. (30 marks)

- Environmental studies. (30 marks)
AP TET Paper 2 (A & B)
- Child development and Pedagogy (30 marks).
- Language 1 – Telugu, Urdu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Odia, Sanskrit (30 marks).
- Language 2 – English. (30 marks)
- Mathematics and science. ( Mathematics, Physical science, Biological science, Social studies, languages) ( 60 marks).
AP TET 2025 Exam Pattern
The AP TET Exam pattern 2025 consists of 2 papers. Candidates can choose any Paper according to their level. Candidates who choose level 1 will be eligible for primary teacher level ( classes 1 to 5) and candidates who choose level 2 will be eligible for upper primary teacher level ( classes 6 to 8).
Both the AP TET exam papers consist of 150 marks each carrying 1 mark for each correct answer. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers in this examination. Candidates need to qualify the AP TET 2025 exam in order to get the certification.
The AP TET exam pattern consists of a computer based exam with multiple choice questions. The exam time is 2 hours 30 minutes.
