TG EAPCET Reservation of Seats for all Categories 2026
Local and Non-Local Reservation
- 85% of seats are reserved for local candidates (students who have studied in Telangana for at least 4 consecutive years up to Class 12 or its equivalent).
- 15% of seats are open to non-local candidates (students from other states or Union Territories).
Category-Wise Reservation
The remaining seats are distributed among various categories as per the following percentages:
- Scheduled Castes (SC): 15%
- Scheduled Tribes (ST): 6%
- Backward Classes (BC): 29% (Further divided into sub-categories: BC-A (7%), BC-B (10%), BC-C (1%), BC-D (7%), and BC-E (4%))
