Once the GATE 2026 provisional answer key is released, candidates can download it and calculate their expected scores by following the detailed steps below:
- Step 1: Visit the official GATE 2026 website.
- Step 2: Look for the “Provisional Answer Key” link on the homepage.
- Step 3: Fill in all the required information at the ‘GOAPS’ portal
- Step 4: Select the respective paper/subject for which you appeared.
- Step 5: The answer key PDF will open on the screen.
- Step 6: Cross-check your responses with the provisional answer key.
The GATE 2026 results will be announced on March 19. Candidates can check their results using their enrollment ID and password. After the declaration of the results, GATE scorecards of the qualified candidates will be available for free download from March 27 to May 31. Post that, till December 31, candidates must pay a fee of INR 500 per test paper to obtain the same.
