TG EAMCET 2nd Phase Counselling Dates : Department of Technical Education, Telangana has announced the TS EAMCET 2025 2nd Phase Counselling Dates 2025 at https://eapcet.tgche.ac.in. As per the schedule released, the second phase counselling will begin from July 25, which includes online registration, counselling fee payment and slot booking for certificate verification.

Only new candidates are eligible to register online in the second phase. Candidates who have registered in the first phase need not register again. Interested and eligible applicants must complete their registration by July 26, 2025. Thereafter, newly registered candidates must appear for offline certificate verification at their designated Helpline Centers (HLCs) within the stipulated time frame. After successful verification, they will be eligible to participate in the web option entry.

This delay is attributed to the complex roster-based allotment process, which involves meticulously checking each student’s caste, rank, and chosen colleges against available seats and reservations. This intricate process ensures fairness and accuracy, preventing issues like lower-ranked students getting seats in higher-ranked colleges, or vice versa. The authorities prioritize a thorough and accurate allocation, even if it takes more time.

What to Do After Seat Allotment

Once the seat allotment is announced, students fall into two main categories: those interested in the allotted college and those not interested.

For Interested Students:

  • Check Allotment Details: First, confirm the college and course you’ve been allotted.
  • Prepare for Fee Payment: Identify the fee amount specified in your allotment letter. If you’re eligible for fee reimbursement, you might have a zero fee. Otherwise, get the required fee ready. It’s advisable to pay fees using digital methods like debit/credit card or net banking, and avoid cash, as this can be useful for any potential fee adjustments.
  • Gather Documents: Prepare both original and xerox copies of all the certificates you submitted for the application process. Previous videos have detailed the 10 essential certificates required. While originals are for verification, only xerox copies will be submitted.
    • Certificate Validity: For income and EWS certificates, the government has specific validity conditions. If your certificate is older or you have a new one, it’s recommended to visit the college and speak to the authorities. They might consider your case on humanitarian grounds, even if the certificate isn’t perfectly as per the latest requirements. Don’t hesitate to explain your situation politely.
  • Scholarship Application: Even if you’re eligible for fee reimbursement (RTF), you still need to apply for the scholarship at the college. The detailed process for this will be explained in an upcoming video.

For Disinterested Students:

If you are not interested in the college allotted to you, the option of a second phase of counseling is currently uncertain. As of now, the AP authorities have not officially announced a second or final phase. However, historically, a second phase usually occurs. Last year, students had to protest and advocate for a second phase of counseling, which was eventually provided. It’s unclear whether the government will initiate a second phase on its own this time or if student advocacy will be required.

Students who are firm about not wanting their current allotment should wait for a second phase, but be aware that it’s a 50/50 chance as the AP Government’s decisions can be unpredictable. There’s no official press note regarding a second phase yet.
