Programme:
The MBA program is designed to facilitate students in understanding, developing, integrating and applying knowledge of both core and specialized areas of management and their concepts and practices in the domain of the Petroleum and Energy Sector. The focus will be to impart extensive training in various areas of specializations through electives, thereby providing a wide array of career opportunities in the sector.
The programme aims to develop human resources to cater to the petroleum and allied energy sectors. M.B.A. (Petroleum and Energy Management) allows students to comprehend, evolve, and integrate knowledge of specialized parts of management. They also learn about the concepts and practices in petroleum and energy sector.
Eligibility Criteria for admission to M.B.A. (Petroleum and Energy Management):
- You must have secured 60% marks in aggregate in matriculation and 10+2 level.
- You must have secured at least 65% marks in aggregate at graduation level in any branch of engineering/technology from an accredited university or college. Mathematics must be one of the compulsory subjects at 10+2 level.
- In addition, you need to clear CAT/JMET/GMAT exam to get admission in M.B.A. Petroleum and Energy Management.
Duration of M.B.A. (Petroleum and Energy Management): Two years
Selection Process for admission into M.B.A. (Petroleum and Energy Management)
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of merit list prepared from CAT/MAT scores. Thereafter the shortlisted candidates are invited for further admission process which comprises interview and/or Group Discussion. Based on the performance at theses stages, the final selection of the candidates is done. Candidates are required to secure at least 70% in CAT or 75% in MAT.
