The minister said the Notification will be issued in March and the recruitment process will be completed without any delay or hindrance. The posts to be recruited include 6,371 secondary grade teachers, 7,725 school assistants, 1,781 trained graduate teachers, 286 postgraduate teachers, 52 principals and 132 physical education teachers.
The Andhra Pradesh government had previously withdrawn the DSC notifications of the earlier government, which had declared 6,100 posts. The government had vowed to fill 16,347 posts, and the announcement made by the education minister is in line with that.

AP DSC Education Qualification
- Intermediate or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) as approved by the Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate with a minimum of 50% of the possible points (45% in the case of applicants who are SC, ST, BC, or differently abled).
- Accomplish a 2-year Elementary Education Diploma or a 4-year Elementary Education Bachelor degree.
- As recognized by the Board of Intermediate, Andhra Pradesh, intermediate or senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% of the possible points (the minimum of 40% for candidates who are SC, ST, BC, or differently abled, according to the NCTE Regulations, 2002); and attain a 2-year elementary education diploma or a 4-year elementary education bachelor degree.
- Attained qualification in Paper I of the Andhra Pradesh Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET), or TSTET Test
AP DSC Age Limit
