The Eligibility criterion to take up this course is 10+2. An entrance test is kept for the eligibility of the degree course of this field which carries the following tests:-

1. Aptitude test.

2. Free hand-drawing on a situation from the given topics.

3. General awareness test.

4. Final Interview.

The Final Interview is conducted after the candidate is qualifies in the first three tests. The candidate should bring an old drawing during the time of interview which he had drawn.

Personal attributes: Candidates who were choosing this field must have the ability to enjoy creating and imagining. This is among those professions where learning from others plays an important role in the budding stages. A talent since childhood, dedication, an eye to form, ability to utilize colors and creative ability to develop original ideas are also important factors.

It is important to practice drawing at home. One can approach students of the arts colleges or even the faculty members for help and guidance. Free-hand drawing must be practiced too and the best of the work should be selected for the Art.
