Interviewee - 3 : Name : Amrutha Experience : My elderly mother received a call from a scammer pretending to be from a government agency, claiming she owed back taxes and needed to pay immediately. She was frightened and wired a significant amount of money. Response : It was only after the money was gone that we realized it was scam
  4. Interviewee - 4 : Name : Venkatesh Experience : I ordered a product only, and it arrived damaged. 1 just accepted it. Response : I felt frustrated because I spent money on something unusable. Thus, there experiences highlight the diverse ways in which people can be exploited due to lack of consumer rights awareness and emphasize the importance of educating oneself and others about their rights to prevent such situations in the future
