Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Nalgonda has released the Revised Timetable for B.Tech Semester Examinations scheduled in May–June 2026. The schedule is applicable to students pursuing B.Tech courses in colleges affiliated with the university and covers 2nd & 4th Semester Regular and Backlog examinations along with 1st & 3rd Semester Backlog examinations.

According to the notification issued by the Controller of Examinations, the revised timetable was released to streamline the examination schedule and avoid clashes with other university examinations. Students who are studying under the relevant regulations (such as R-19, R-23 or AICTE schemes depending on admission year) are eligible to appear for these examinations. The detailed subject-wise exam dates, timings, and paper codes are included in the official timetable published by the university examination branch.

As per the academic schedule, the theory examinations are expected to be conducted during May and June 2026, while practical examinations may be organized before the theory papers depending on the department schedule. Students must ensure that they have completed the examination registration and fee payment process through their respective colleges to be eligible to receive the hall tickets.

The revised timetable contains important instructions for candidates appearing in the examinations. Students are advised to carefully verify their subject codes, examination dates, and reporting time before attending the exam. Any discrepancies should be immediately reported to the college examination branch or the university examination office.

Candidates must also carry their hall ticket and valid student identification to the examination centre. The university has instructed students to strictly follow the examination guidelines and maintain discipline during the examinations.

The B.Tech semester examinations are a crucial part of the academic evaluation process, assessing students’ understanding of engineering fundamentals and technical subjects. Successful completion of these examinations allows students to progress to the next semester or clear pending backlog papers.

Students are advised to regularly visit the official Mahatma Gandhi University examination portal for updates regarding hall tickets, revised schedules, or any further changes related to the B.Tech Sem 2nd & 4th Regular/Backlog and Sem 1st & 3rd Backlog Exams May–June 2026.
