Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) has released the examination timetable for the B.Tech Semester 2nd and 4th Regular & Backlog examinations along with Semester 1st and 3rd Backlog examinations under Regulation-23, which are scheduled to be conducted in May 2026. The timetable provides clarity for students studying in affiliated engineering colleges under MGU and helps them prepare systematically for their upcoming semester examinations.

According to the university notification, the examinations will include Second and Fourth Semester Regular students as well as Backlog candidates, while First and Third Semester students will appear only for backlog subjects under Regulation-23. These examinations are an important opportunity for students who previously could not clear certain subjects to complete their pending papers and continue their academic progress without delay. The timetable lists subject-wise exam dates, paper codes, and examination timings for all B.Tech branches offered under the university.

The theory examinations are expected to begin in May 2026, with each paper scheduled on different days as per the official time-table released by the Controller of Examinations. Students are advised to carefully check their branch-wise schedule and paper codes before appearing for the examinations. Practical examinations and internal assessments, if applicable, may be conducted separately by the respective colleges before or after the theory exams depending on the department’s schedule.

MGU has also instructed all candidates to download their hall tickets from the university examination portal or collect them through their respective colleges before the commencement of the examinations. Students must carry the hall ticket and a valid college ID to the examination center. The university further advises candidates to follow all exam rules and reach the examination hall well in advance.

Students preparing for the MGU B.Tech Regulation-23 examinations May 2026 should utilize the available time effectively and revise the syllabus thoroughly. The timetable ensures a structured examination schedule for both regular and backlog candidates and plays a key role in helping students plan their study schedule and perform well in the upcoming semester exams.

For the complete subject-wise timetable, students should visit the official Mahatma Gandhi University examination portal and download the detailed exam schedule.
