Mahatma Gandhi University UG 1st 3rd 5th Sem (Regular/Backlog) Exam Dec 2025 Timetable
Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) has officially announced the Undergraduate (UG) 1st, 3rd, and 5th Semester Examination Timetable for December 2025, covering both Regular and Backlog students enrolled in affiliated degree colleges. This timetable marks the beginning of the academic examination cycle for the Odd Semesters and provides much-needed clarity for BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, BCA, and other UG programme students preparing for the end-semester assessments.
According to the schedule, the examinations will begin in the first week of December 2025 and will be conducted in the offline mode at designated university exam centers. The timetable includes detailed dates for core theory papers, generic electives, skill enhancement courses, and backlog papers. MGU has ensured that adequate gaps are provided between major subjects to help students manage their revision effectively.
For 1st Semester students, the schedule covers foundational subjects such as English, Second Languages, Environmental Studies, and introductory discipline-specific papers.
The 3rd Semester includes intermediate-level theory papers, practical-related subjects, and skill-based electives.
The 5th Semester focuses on advanced specialization topics, project-based learning components, and higher-level theoretical papers.
Most examinations are scheduled from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, though morning sessions may be allotted depending on subject combinations and exam center availability. The university has instructed all affiliated colleges to publish the timetable prominently on notice boards and circulate it through official communication channels.
MGU has further directed colleges to complete internal assessments, practical examinations, and project submissions before the commencement of theory exams. Internal marks must be uploaded within the stipulated deadlines to prevent delays in result processing.
The university has stressed strict compliance with exam-day guidelines. Students must carry their hall tickets and valid ID proof, report at least 30 minutes before the start time, and avoid any malpractice.
With the release of the December 2025 timetable, MGU aims to facilitate smooth examination planning and ensure UG students can prepare with confidence for their academic progression.
