Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) has officially released the LLB (5-Year Degree Course) 3rd and 5th Semester Regular Examination Timetable for December 2025, bringing clarity to law students preparing for their mid-program and upper-intermediate level examinations. The timetable provides detailed information on subject-wise exam dates, timings, and essential guidelines for students across affiliated law colleges.

According to the timetable, the theory examinations will commence in the second week of December 2025, and all exams will be conducted in the offline mode at designated MGU examination centers. For both 3rd and 5th Semesters, the university has ensured the inclusion of adequate gaps between major papers to help students manage their preparation effectively, especially for subjects involving intensive case law study and legal interpretation.

For 3rd Semester students, the examination schedule includes important subjects such as Constitutional Law-II, Law of Contracts-II, Jurisprudence, and foundational legal courses that strengthen students’ understanding of core legal principles.

The 5th Semester examinations cover key subjects including Family Law-II, Labour Law-I, Environmental Law, and other central papers specified under the Bar Council of India guidelines. These subjects form a crucial part of the legal curriculum as they introduce students to substantive laws and contemporary legal issues.

Exams for both semesters are scheduled from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and students are advised to report to the examination centers at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Hall tickets will be made available on the official university website prior to the examination period, and students must carry a valid ID along with the hall ticket for verification.

MGU has also directed affiliated colleges to complete internal assessments, moot court activities, practical components, and viva-voce evaluations before the commencement of theory examinations. All internal marks must be uploaded within the prescribed deadlines.

With the release of the December 2025 timetable, MGU aims to ensure a smooth and well-organized examination cycle, allowing LLB (5YDC) students to prepare confidently and progress steadily in their legal education.
