Palamuru University (PU) has officially released the Practical Examination Notification for Postgraduate (PG), MBA, and MCA 2nd & 3rd Semester Backlog and 4th Semester Regular, Backlog, and Improvement Examinations scheduled to be conducted in July 2026. Students pursuing various postgraduate programmes under the university and its affiliated colleges are advised to note the practical examination schedule and complete all necessary formalities within the stipulated time.

According to the notification, the practical examinations will be conducted before the commencement of the theory examinations. All eligible students, including those appearing for backlog and improvement examinations, must contact their respective colleges to obtain the detailed practical timetable, batch allocation, and examination venue. Colleges will issue individual schedules based on the availability of laboratory facilities and course requirements.

Candidates are instructed to carry their Hall Ticket and a valid college identity card to the practical examination centre. They should report well before the scheduled examination time and strictly follow the instructions issued by the university and college authorities. Students must also ensure that they have completed the required practical records, project work, laboratory journals, or viva-voce requirements wherever applicable.

The university has directed affiliated colleges to conduct the practical examinations as per the prescribed guidelines and submit the practical marks within the specified deadline to facilitate the timely declaration of results. Any student failing to appear for the practical examination will be treated according to the university examination regulations.

Students are advised to regularly visit the university notice board or contact their respective college examination branches for updates regarding practical examination dates, hall tickets, and any changes in the schedule. Candidates should prepare thoroughly and attend the practical examinations as per the notified timetable to avoid any inconvenience during the July 2026 examination session.
