OU UG (CBCS) BA/B.Com/B.Sc/B.Sc (Hons)/BSW/BBA 2nd Sem (Reg) Internal & Practical and 1st Sem (Backlog) Practical Exams July/Aug 2026 Circular
Osmania University (OU) has officially released the UG (CBCS) BA, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Sc (Hons), BSW, and BBA 2nd Semester (Regular) Internal & Practical and 1st Semester (Backlog) Practical Examinations July/August 2026 Circular. The circular provides detailed guidelines for affiliated colleges regarding the conduct of internal assessments and practical examinations for eligible undergraduate students.
According to the notification, all affiliated and constituent colleges must conduct the 2nd Semester (Regular) Internal Assessment and Practical Examinations as per the schedule prescribed by the university. In addition, 1st Semester (Backlog) Practical Examinations will also be conducted during the same examination session, enabling students with pending practical subjects to clear their backlogs.
College principals and heads of departments have been instructed to strictly follow the examination guidelines issued by the university. The internal assessments should be conducted transparently, while practical examinations must be organized according to the approved syllabus and examination procedures. Colleges are also required to ensure that attendance, internal marks, and practical records are properly maintained and submitted within the stipulated deadlines.
Students appearing for these examinations are advised to contact their respective colleges for the detailed timetable, batch-wise practical schedule, venue information, and other examination-related instructions. Candidates should carry their hall tickets or identity cards, laboratory records (where applicable), and other necessary documents while attending the practical examinations.
Osmania University has emphasized that all colleges should complete the evaluation process promptly so that the marks can be uploaded to the university portal within the specified timeframe. Any delay in conducting or submitting examination records may affect the declaration of semester results.
