OU PG (MA/M.Sc/M.Com/M.Com (IS)/MSW/M.Lib.Sc/MJ & MC) 4th-Sem (Reg/Back & Improvement) 1st & 3rd Sem (Back & Improvement) Exam July 2026 Extension of Last Date
Osmania University has officially released an important update regarding the PG examinations for MA, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Com (IS), MSW, M.Lib.Sc, and MJ & MC courses. The notification concerns the 4th semester (Regular, Backlog, and Improvement) along with 1st and 3rd semester (Backlog and Improvement) examinations scheduled for July 2026. As per the latest announcement, the university has extended the last date for exam application submission, giving students additional time to complete their registration process without late fee complications.
This extension has been provided keeping in view the requests from students and affiliated colleges who were facing difficulties in completing the online application process within the earlier deadline. Candidates who are yet to apply are advised to make use of this opportunity and submit their examination forms at the earliest through the official examination portal. The university has clearly instructed that applications submitted after the extended deadline will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Students appearing for the 4th semester regular and backlog examinations, as well as those applying for improvement exams, must carefully verify their subject details, previous marks, and eligibility before final submission. Similarly, candidates from 1st and 3rd semesters who are appearing for backlog or improvement examinations should ensure that all their academic records are correctly updated in the university database.
The fee payment process, online registration, and submission guidelines remain unchanged, and students are advised to follow the official instructions provided by Osmania University. Colleges have also been directed to support students in completing the registration process smoothly.
This extension is expected to benefit a large number of postgraduate students across various departments, ensuring that no eligible candidate misses the opportunity to appear for the July 2026 examinations. Students are strongly encouraged to complete the process well before the revised deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues or server delays. For further updates, candidates should regularly check the university’s official notifications section.
