The notification is applicable to Regular, Backlog, and Improvement candidates enrolled under the university and its affiliated colleges.

Eligible students are advised to complete the examination application process within the dates specified in the official notification. Candidates should submit their examination forms through their respective colleges along with the prescribed examination fee. Students are encouraged to verify their personal details, course information, and subject registrations carefully before submitting the application to avoid discrepancies in the hall ticket or examination records.

Backlog candidates can register for pending semester papers, while Improvement candidates may apply to improve their previously secured marks in accordance with the university regulations. The university has also specified the schedule for payment of examination fees with and without late fees. Students who fail to submit their applications before the deadline may have to pay the applicable late fee or may not be permitted to appear for the examinations.

The detailed examination timetable, including subject-wise dates and session timings, will be released separately by Osmania University prior to the commencement of the examinations. Hall tickets will be made available through the respective colleges before the examination dates.

Candidates should regularly visit the official university website and stay in touch with their college examination branches for the latest updates regarding hall ticket availability, examination schedules, practical examinations (where applicable), and any changes in the examination process.

Students are advised to begin their preparations well in advance and ensure that they carry their hall ticket and valid college identity card to the examination centre. Following all university guidelines and examination instructions will help ensure a smooth examination process. Osmania University wishes all postgraduate students the very best for their August/September 2026 Second Semester examinations.
