Kakatiya University Pre Ph.D Exam 2026 Fee Notification

Kakatiya University, Warangal, has released the Pre Ph.D Examination Fee Notification for the academic year 2026. The notification is intended for eligible research scholars who are required to appear for the Pre Ph.D examinations as part of the doctoral programme. Candidates pursuing Ph.D. courses in various faculties such as Arts, Science, Social Sciences, Commerce, Education, Law, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Computer Sciences can apply for the examination by paying the prescribed fee within the stipulated schedule.

According to the university regulations, all Ph.D. scholars are required to complete the mandatory course work and pass the Pre Ph.D examination. Candidates who have already obtained M.Phil. or M.Litt. degrees through regular mode are exempted from the Pre Ph.D examination. The examination generally consists of two papers, each carrying 100 marks with a duration of three hours. A minimum of 50 percent marks in each paper is required to qualify.

Applicants are advised to carefully verify their eligibility before remitting the examination fee, as the fee once paid will not be refunded. The duly filled application forms should be submitted through the concerned department or university college within the prescribed dates. Candidates are also required to attach copies of relevant academic documents while submitting their applications. Previous notifications indicate that late fee provisions may be available for candidates who miss the regular deadline.
