Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal, has issued important information regarding the tuition fee structure for students admitted into Private Medical and Dental Colleges from the Academic Year 2023-24 batch. This update is highly relevant for MBBS and BDS students studying under different admission quotas in Telangana.

According to the admission prospectus and official counseling notifications, the tuition fee for MBBS/BDS seats in private colleges is governed by the Government of Telangana and is applicable to students admitted through both Competent Authority Quota and Management Quota. The university has clearly stated that the fee must be paid as per the orders notified by the state government during the counseling and admission process.

KNRUHS has also informed students and principals of private medical and dental colleges that candidates admitted in the 2023-24 academic batch may be required to submit a Bank Guarantee towards tuition fee for the ensuing academic year, in accordance with the applicable government orders. However, colleges were instructed not to deny admission at the time of reporting if the bank guarantee was not submitted immediately. This was a major relief for many newly allotted students and parents.

For students admitted under Management Quota, KNRUHS additionally prescribed separate university processing fees during allotment, apart from the tuition fee payable to the college. These charges differed for MBBS and BDS admissions under B and C (NRI) categories.
