Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada has released the UG/PG Programmes under NRI, FN (Foreign National), and OCI Categories – 2026 Revised Admission Notification for the upcoming academic year. This revised notification provides updated guidelines for international and overseas Indian students seeking admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by the university and its affiliated colleges.

According to the notification, admissions under NRI, FN, and OCI categories will be conducted for a wide range of courses including Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Management, Computer Applications, and allied disciplines. Candidates applying under these special categories must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the university, including qualifying academic qualifications recognized by relevant authorities in India or equivalent foreign education boards.

The revised guidelines emphasize transparent seat allocation, document verification, and merit-based selection. Applicants under the NRI category must provide valid proof of NRI sponsorship, while FN candidates must submit a valid passport, student visa, and equivalency certificates where required. OCI candidates are required to present their Overseas Citizen of India card along with supporting academic records.

The university has also clarified that admission will be processed through a centralized system, and candidates may be required to participate in counseling or online registration rounds depending on the programme. Fee structures for these categories are different from regular quota seats and will be applicable as per the revised university norms.

Important instructions regarding application deadlines, registration procedure, and certificate verification will be made available on the official admission portal. Candidates are advised to carefully read the notification before submitting applications to avoid rejection due to incomplete documentation.

This initiative aims to strengthen global academic participation and encourage international students and Indian diaspora candidates to pursue higher education in Andhra Pradesh. For further updates, applicants should regularly check the official announcements and admission schedule released by the university.

Overall, this revised notification ensures a streamlined admission process with improved clarity, transparency, and accessibility for NRI, FN, and OCI category students aspiring to study at JNTUK in 2026.
