JNTUK B.Tech 4-1 Sem (R20,R19,R16) Advanced Supply Exams April 2026 Notification
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) has released the B.Tech IV Year I Semester (4-1) Advanced Supplementary Examinations Notification for April 2026. This notification is important for students who belong to R20, R19, and R16 regulations and have backlog subjects in the 4-1 semester. The university conducts these advanced supplementary examinations to give students an opportunity to clear failed subjects without waiting for the next regular exam cycle.
The notification applies to several batches of students under different regulations. Under R20 regulations, it is mainly applicable to students admitted in the 2020 batch and 2021 lateral entry batch. For R19 regulations, it covers students admitted in 2019 and 2020 lateral entry batches, while R16 regulations are applicable to students admitted from 2017 onwards and corresponding lateral entry batches.
According to the examination notification, eligible students must submit their examination application forms through their respective colleges within the prescribed schedule. The university generally provides multiple deadlines such as without late fee, with a late fee of ₹100, and with a higher late fee of ₹1000 for delayed applications. Students are advised to complete the registration process within the initial deadline to avoid additional charges.
The examination fee structure typically depends on the number of subjects a student is appearing for. Students writing the entire semester examination must pay a full fee, while those attempting one or more individual subjects pay a reduced fee depending on the number of papers. Candidates must also submit copies of their latest marks memos showing the failed subjects along with the application form.
JNTUK will conduct these examinations under the jumbling system, where students may be allotted different examination centers among affiliated colleges to maintain transparency in the evaluation process. The detailed theory examination timetable will be released separately on the official JNTUK examination portal. Practical or laboratory exam schedules will also be announced later by the university.
Students are advised to regularly check the official JNTUK website or their college examination sections for updates regarding the exam timetable, hall tickets, and instructions. Clearing backlog subjects through these advanced supplementary exams will help students complete their B.Tech degree without delay and continue with higher studies or career opportunities.
