JNTUA M.Tech R25 Highway Engineering – Course Structure & Syllabus

The JNTUA M.Tech R25 Highway Engineering course is a specialized postgraduate program designed for students who wish to build advanced knowledge in transportation systems, pavement engineering, traffic planning, and highway construction technologies. The R25 regulation has been introduced for students admitted from the academic year 2025–26 onwards. In the second year, students can select advanced professional electives such as Traffic Safety Engineering, Airport Planning & Design, Urban Transportation Systems, GIS Applications in Transportation, and Pavement Management Systems. The final year mainly focuses on dissertation work, research projects, and thesis submission. This helps students gain practical exposure and industry-oriented research experience.
