JNTU-GV Announces Withdrawal of Faculty Recruitment 2023 Notification

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Gurajada Vizianagaram (JNTU-GV) has officially announced the withdrawal of its Faculty Recruitment 2023 notification issued for various teaching positions across departments. The university released the latest update through an official notice on its website, informing applicants that the recruitment process initiated in 2023 has now been cancelled due to administrative and procedural reasons.

The original recruitment notification, released in October 2023, invited applications for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor posts in departments such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Humanities, and Sciences. Hundreds of candidates from Andhra Pradesh and other states had applied for these faculty vacancies under JNTU-GV.

According to university sources, the withdrawal decision was taken following changes in recruitment procedures, reservation roster implementation, and other administrative considerations. Reports indicate that several Andhra Pradesh universities have also been reviewing their 2023 recruitment notifications after legal concerns were raised regarding reservation policies and roster calculations in faculty appointments.

JNTU-GV has advised all applicants not to depend on unofficial reports circulating on social media and to follow only the university’s official website for authentic information regarding future recruitment updates. The university may issue a revised recruitment notification in the coming months with updated eligibility criteria, vacancy details, and recruitment guidelines as per the latest government regulations.

Candidates who had applied for the recruitment are requested to keep their academic certificates, application records, and supporting documents ready for future notifications. The university clarified that the withdrawal of the current notification does not necessarily mean a permanent cancellation of faculty hiring, and a fresh recruitment process may be announced after necessary revisions and approvals are completed.
