Dr. YSRHU B.Sc. Horticulture NRI and Industrial Sponsored Quota 2026-27 Notification
Dr. Y.S.R. Horticultural University (Dr. YSRHU), Andhra Pradesh, has released the B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture NRI and Industrial Sponsored Quota Admission Notification for the academic year 2026-27. The notification invites eligible candidates to apply for admission under the NRI/NRI-Sponsored Quota and Industry Sponsored Quota for the four-year undergraduate Horticulture programme. According to the university, admissions under these special quotas are based on Intermediate (10+2) marks rather than AP EAPCET ranks.
Candidates seeking admission under the NRI/NRI-Sponsored Quota must satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed by the university, including submission of valid NRI sponsorship documents. Similarly, applicants under the Industry Sponsored Quota are required to produce sponsorship certificates and supporting documents from the sponsoring organization as specified in the information brochure. The university has instructed candidates to carefully read the eligibility criteria before submitting their applications.
The application process for both quotas is offline. Interested candidates should download the prescribed application form and information brochure from the official Dr. YSRHU website, fill in the required details, attach all necessary certificates, and submit the completed application to the university within the stipulated deadline mentioned in the application form. The university has also clarified that all future updates, including admission schedules and counselling-related information, will be published only on the official website, and no individual communication will be sent to applicants.
Applicants are advised to keep ready documents such as Intermediate marks memo, Transfer Certificate, Study Certificates, Date of Birth proof, Community Certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar Card, passport-size photographs, and the relevant NRI or Industry sponsorship documents. Admissions will be processed strictly according to the university regulations and applicable reservation policies.
Students aspiring to pursue a career in horticulture, plantation crops, floriculture, post-harvest technology, and allied agricultural sciences can utilize this opportunity to secure admission through the NRI or Industry Sponsored quota. Candidates should regularly visit the official Dr. YSRHU admissions portal for the latest announcements, counselling schedules, and admission instructions
