SBTET Extension of Fee Payment Date For Supply, 2nd Mercy and Special Mercy Exam Dec 2025 Notification
The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) has issued an important notification announcing the extension of the fee payment date for the Supply, 2nd Mercy, and Special Mercy Examinations scheduled for December 2025. This update comes as a major relief for students across various polytechnic institutions who had been requesting additional time due to pending fee payments, academic backlogs, and other personal constraints.
According to the official notification, students now have additional days to pay their examination fees without penalty. A short grace period with a nominal late fee has also been provided for those who miss the extended deadline. SBTET clarified that this will be the final extension, urging all candidates to make use of the opportunity and complete the payment process promptly through their respective college portals or the official SBTET website.
The extended fee payment window applies to all candidates appearing for regular supply exams, as well as those eligible under the 2nd Mercy and Special Mercy categories, which are intended to help long-pending students clear leftover subjects and complete their diploma programs.
SBTET has also reminded colleges to ensure that students' attendance records, internal marks, and eligibility details are updated and submitted to the board within the revised timeframe. Institutions must display the updated schedule on their notice boards to ensure that no student misses critical information.
The board reiterated that hall tickets will be issued only to those students who complete all requirements within the extended deadlines. The timetable for the December 2025 examinations has already been released separately, and students are encouraged to follow it closely while planning their preparations.
This notification highlights SBTET’s commitment to supporting diploma students by offering them a final chance to regularize their academic progress and take part in the December 2025 examination cycle without unnecessary stress.
