The Controller of Examinations’ office at MGU has officially announced the postponement of the Undergraduate (UG) practical examinations scheduled for November 2025. According to the university’s notification, the practical exams for the UG programmes, which were to take place during the November session, will not be held as per the originally published timetable and will be rescheduled at a later date. The notice emphasises that new dates and revised time-tables will be uploaded in due course on the university website.

This decision comes in view of “unavoidable circumstances,” as stated in the official communication, although the university has not publicly specified the exact nature of the disruption. All affiliated colleges and UG students under the jurisdiction of MGU (based in Nalgonda) are urged to await the updated notification and plan accordingly. The postponement affects all eligible UG practical papers for the current session and implies a temporary hold on practical examinations until the fresh schedule is announced.

For students, this change means several things:

Adjustment of schedules: Students who had prepared for the practicals in November will now need to remain on standby and keep checking the university portal for further updates.

Coordination with colleges: The affiliated colleges must communicate the postponement to individual students and ensure that practical labs, exam venues and external examiners (if any) remain on hold or be re-scheduled.

Preparation continuity: Although the exam date is postponed, students are advised to continue with their practical preparation and maintain readiness for the revised schedule once announced.

Monitoring notifications: The university has reiterated that the revised time-table will be posted on its official website and students are advised to keep visiting the “Notifications” section regularly.

In light of this move, MGU has demonstrated a cautious approach towards examination scheduling — ensuring that students and institutions are not caught by surprise should further changes arise. Students should use this extra time wisely, revise practical work thoroughly, complete any pending lab tasks, and maintain contact with their department exam-coordinators for updates.

In sum: the postponement aims at ensuring a smooth, well-organised practical examination process once circumstances are conducive. Stakeholders are encouraged to stay alert for the revised schedule and not assume the original dates are valid.
