Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) has officially released the Special B.Ed (Hearing Impairment – HI & Intellectual Disability – ID) Examination Notification for December 2025, covering 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Semester Backlogs, along with the 4th Semester Regular and Backlog examinations. This notification is a major update for students pursuing Special Education programs under MGU’s affiliated colleges, as it outlines the complete guidelines for exam registration, fee payment, and academic requirements.

According to the notification, students appearing for backlog examinations in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Semesters, and those preparing for Regular/Backlog 4th Semester exams, must submit their exam application forms through their colleges within the stipulated deadlines. MGU has clearly instructed institutions to verify eligibility, attendance, and internal assessment completion before forwarding the applications.

The university has also released the examination fee structure for each semester category. Students are advised to pay their fees before the last date to avoid late fines. A short late-fee window may be offered, but MGU has emphasized that no applications will be accepted after the final closing date. Colleges must ensure accurate uploading of internal marks, practicum scores, and fieldwork reports as per university regulations.

The Special B.Ed examinations for HI & ID specializations are scheduled for December 2025. The detailed timetable—covering theory papers, practical exams, disability-specific pedagogy assessments, and inclusive education practicum—will be released separately on the MGU official website. Practical exams, including teaching practice, micro-teaching, sign language components, therapeutic intervention activities, and case studies, will be conducted before the theory tests.

Students will be able to download their hall tickets from the university portal once available. Carrying the hall ticket and valid ID to the exam center is mandatory.

With this notification, MGU aims to ensure a structured and smooth examination process for Special B.Ed students, enabling them to progress toward successful completion of their academic training in special education.
