Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) has officially released the PG 3rd Semester Examination Notification for December 2025, providing essential details for students pursuing postgraduate programs across its affiliated colleges. This notification marks the beginning of the end-semester academic schedule for thousands of MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MSW, and other postgraduate students preparing to advance to their final phase of study.

As per the notification, all colleges must submit examination application forms, internal assessment marks, attendance particulars, and eligibility lists to the university within the prescribed deadlines. The university has instructed affiliated institutions to ensure that students meet the minimum attendance requirement and have completed all internal evaluations before submitting their examination applications.

The examination fee payment window will open in early October 2025. Students are encouraged to pay their fees on time to avoid late fines. A short late-fee period will be permitted, but the university clearly emphasizes that no forms will be accepted after the final deadline. Colleges have been asked to guide students through the payment and registration process to avoid last-minute complications.

The PG 3rd Semester theory examinations are scheduled for December 2025 and will be held at designated centers in offline mode. The detailed timetable, including exam dates, subject codes, session timings, and center information, will be released separately on the university website. Subjects will vary by program—covering core theory papers, elective modules, research methodology papers, and specialization subjects relevant to each discipline.

Practical examinations, viva-voce assessments, and project reviews for science and professional PG courses will be conducted after the completion of theory exams. Departments are instructed to complete all internal and practical work before the start of the semester-end exams.

MGU has reiterated that strict disciplinary action will be taken against any malpractice or procedural violations by students or colleges. Students are advised to download their hall tickets once available and follow all exam-day instructions carefully.

This notification serves as a crucial academic milestone, ensuring students prepare efficiently for the December 2025 examinations and progress smoothly toward the final semester of their postgraduate programs.
