Kaloji Narayana Rao University MEDICAL PG DEGREE DIPLOMA AY 2025-26 Exercising Web Options for 2nd Phase of Counselling Notification

Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal, Telangana has released the official notification for exercising web options for the Second Phase of Counselling for admissions into Medical Post Graduate (PG) Degree and Diploma courses under the Competent Authority Quota for the Academic Year (AY) 2025‑26. This notification forms an integral step in the ongoing postgraduate medical admissions process and provides eligible candidates another opportunity to secure seats in affiliated medical colleges, including government, private (non‑minority and minority), and Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad. 

The Second Phase of Web‑based Counselling allows eligible candidates to log into the official counselling portal and exercise their choices of courses and colleges in order of preference. As per the University’s admissions schedule, this round follows the first phase of counselling and is designed to fill up remaining vacant seats after the initial allotment and reporting. Candidates who appeared in the final merit list and fulfilled reporting requirements in the first phase, and those who were allotted seats and continued the course, are typically eligible to participate in this second phase. 

During this phase, aspirants must log into the designated online system using their credentials and enter their preferred subject and college choices before the specified deadline. The web‑options process is competitive, with the allotment being conducted based on merit rank, reservation category, and availability of seats across Medical PG Degree and Diploma programmes. 

Important conditions, such as ineligibility of candidates who did not report in earlier phases or those who discontinued after reporting, are usually outlined in the official notification. Candidates are advised to carefully review all eligibility criteria, seat matrices, and instructions available on the KNRUHS admissions portal to ensure proper participation.
