Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana, has issued the comprehensive notification for admissions into both B.Sc. Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing courses under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2025–26, inviting eligible candidates to participate in the centralized online admission process for government and private nursing colleges affiliated with the university.

The notification covers two key programs: the B.Sc. Nursing 4-year Degree Course (4YDC) and the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing 2-year Degree Course (2YDC). Candidates seeking admission must register online and upload scanned copies of required certificates within the prescribed dates as specified in the official prospectus and notification. Eligibility criteria include educational qualifications — for B.Sc. Nursing, completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English; and for Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, a recognized General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) qualification — along with meeting age and domicile requirements as per KNRUHS regulations.

Following the submission of applications, KNRUHS publishes a provisional final merit list of eligible candidates for both courses on its official website. Eligible candidates are then called to exercise web options during multiple phases of web-based counseling. The first phase allows candidates to select their preferred colleges and courses online, with subsequent phases offered to fill vacant seats and provide further opportunities for allotment.

Candidates who receive seat allotments under the Competent Authority Quota must pay the required university fees and complete the admission formalities at the allotted institutions within the stipulated timelines. Controllers and principals of nursing colleges are instructed to facilitate the process and ensure that candidates complete admissions smoothly.

Prospective nursing students are strongly advised to regularly check the official KNRUHS website for the latest updates on merit lists, counseling schedules, fee details, and other important notifications so they do not miss any key deadlines in this competitive and structured admission process.
