JNTU-Anantapur M.Tech & M.Sc Sponsored Category 2025-26 Admission Notification

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTU-A) has released its admission notification for the sponsored category seats in regular M.Tech. and M.Sc. programmes for the academic year 2025-26. The notification invites applications from eligible candidates who are currently employed and sponsored by their employers in Andhra Pradesh or elsewhere. The last date for submission of applications is expected to be around late October 2025, similar to previous years, and candidates must ensure all required documents are submitted before the deadline.​

Eligibility Criteria

For M.Tech. programmes, candidates must have a valid GATE score or rank in APPGECET-2025, along with a minimum of 45% marks for BC/SC/ST and 50% for OC candidates in their BE/B.Tech. or equivalent degree. At least one year of experience in teaching, industry, or R&D after acquiring the qualifying degree is mandatory. For M.Sc. programmes, candidates need a rank in APPGCET-2025 and similar academic qualifications with the same experience requirement.​

Application Process

Candidates must fill out the application form with all required details and pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 1,000/- via demand draft. Each application must be accompanied by photocopies of certificates, including the qualifying degree, consolidated marks memo, service and salary certificates, and a sponsorship certificate cum no objection certificate from the employer. Separate applications are required for each specialization or college.
