Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore announces admission to Regular Post-Doctoral Fellowships 2014. Scholarship Details The positions will be offered fixed emoluments of Rs 30,000 p.m. and an increment of Rs 1500 p.a. with allowances as applicable in addition to a book grant Accommodation and medical facilities will also be provided Selected candidates, as post doctoral fellows, are expected to work in close collaboration with members of the research groups at the institute and are also encouraged to carry out independent research The duration of the fellowship is normally two years, with a possible extension for another year

Eligibility Criteria:PhD degree in Physical / Mathematical Sciences from a recognised University / Institute Candidates should preferably be below the age of 36 years
