AP Lawcet & PGLCET 2023 Results
Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, going to release the result of AP LAWCET 2023 on 15th June, 2023. Candidates can download AP LAWCET 2023 result along with the rank card in online mode in official website and Manabadi.co.in. With the declaration of the result, candidates who meet the minimum qualification marks criteria will be then shortlisted on the basis of merit list.
AP LAWCET-2023 and AP PGLCET- 2023 are the Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Tests for admission into LL.B 3/5 Year Law Courses and LL.M Courses in the Universities in Andhra Pradesh and their affiliated colleges. These tests are being conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.
The candidates, who were applied for this entrance tests, they were attended the law entrance exam 20-05-2023 by 03:00 PM to 04:30 PM and they are waiting for their results for join into law courses. The LAWCET and PGLCET exams were conducted to selects students for admission in 3 and 5 year LLB courses and postgraduate LLM law courses in various recognised institutions in the state. Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh conducted the paper on behalf of the APSCHE.
EXAM PATTERN:
According to the APSCHE, the test is designed to evaluate the candidate, General Knowledge, Mental ability, Current Affairs and aptitude to pursue the study of Law.Candidates had to answer 120 questions in 90 minutes.
AP LAWCET :
- The LAWCET paper was divided in three parts.
- Part 1 was for General Knowledge and Mental Ability,
- Part 2 for Current Affairs and
- Part 3 for Aptitude for the Study of Law.
- Parts 1 and 2 had a weightage of 30 marks while part 3 had a weightage of 60 marks.
PGLCET:
The PGLCET paper followed a similar pattern and both papers contained multiple choice questions. The qualifying marks for LAWCET is 35 percent (40 out of 120 marks) and the minimum marks required to clear PGLCET are 25 per cent (30 out of 120 marks).
AP LAWCET-2023 Results:
- a. Evaluation: Every care will be taken to avoid errors in evaluation, checking, scrutiny, tabulation and ranking. Hence, request for retotaling or revaluation or personal identification of scripts will not be entertained.
- b. Ranking: The Candidates will be ranked in the order of merit based on the marks obtained in the AP LAWCET-2023 / AP PGLCET-2023. In case of tie the relative rank will be decided as mentioned below:
- i) By considering the marks secured in Part-C of AP LAWCET and if the tie still persists marks obtained in Part-B in AP LAWCET shall be taken into consideration.
- ii) If the tie still persists they may be bracketed together for the purpose of ranking and seniority in age may be considered at the time of admission.
- c. Rank obtained in AP LAWCET-2023 is valid for admission into 3 year / 5 year Law Courses, as the case may be, for the academic year 2023-2023 only.
AP PGLCET-2023 Results:
- a)Evaluation: Every care will be taken to avoid errors in evaluation, checking, scrutiny,tabulation and ranking.
- b)Ranking: The Candidates will be ranked as per the total marks obtained in the Entrance Test. If there is a tie in total marks, the marks obtained in Part-A of Entrance Test will be considered for awarding the rank. If the tie persists they may be bracketed together for the purpose of ranking and seniority in age may be considered at the time of admission.
- c)The Candidates are advised to download the Rank Card from the web site www.sche.ap.gov.in/lawcet after one week of the publication of results. In case of the any difficulty in downloading the Rank Card the candidates are advised to contact the Convener's office.
How to check the AP Lawcet Results 2023
- Candidates will be able to access their result through their registered accounts.
- Result once declared cannot be changed in any case. Re-checking is always allowed.
- Candidates need to click on the link provided below 'AP LAWCET 2023 Results'.
- Candidates will be required to enter their roll number issued by the university in the provided space and click on the Submit button.
- A pdf file will open which will display the scores and the qualifying status of the candidates.
- Candidates will have to search on their names and get to know the scores secured by them in the law entrance test.
