NEST 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Here we have mentioned the NEST eligibility criteria 2025:

1. Qualification: Candidates should have qualified class 12th or equivalent from any other recognized board.
2. Age limit: There will be no age limit for appearing in NEST 2025 exam.
3. Subject: Students should have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics in the qualifying exam.
4. Marks: To be eligible, candidates must have scored at least 60% marks in aggregate (55% for reserved category candidates).
5. Appearing: Candidates appearing in class 12th will also be eligible to apply for exam.

NEST 2025 Exam Pattern

Candidates must check out the NEST exam pattern 2025 given below:

1. Mode of exam: The NEST exam will be conducted in online mode.
2. Duration: Students will get 3 hours 30 minutes to solve the paper.
3. Total marks: The question paper will be of 200 marks.
4. Type of question: There will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in entrance exam.
5. Marking scheme: For correct answer, 2.5 marks will be awarded to students.
6. Negative marking: For wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

NEST 2025 Syllabus

The NEST syllabus 2025 will be decided on the basis of class 11th and 12th. Below we have mentioned some topics for exam:

1. Chemistry: Mole concept, Atomic Structure and Chemical bonding, Chemical kinetics, Solid state, Chemical Equilibrium, Thermodynamics, Amines, Measurement in chemistry etc.
2. Physics: Units and dimensions, Conservation of angular momentum, Graphical representation, Interpretation of data, Design of some experience etc. 
3. Biology: Genetics and Evolution, Cell Biology, Human and Environment, Immunology, Digestive system, Development biology, Systematics, Ecology, etc.
4. Mathematics: Algebra, Trigonometry, Analytical geometry, Integral calculus, Vectors, Logarithms etc.

Documents Required for NEST application form 2024:

1. Class 10th Mark Sheet and Certificate
2. Class 12th Mark Sheet
3. A recent passport-sized photograph
4. Your scanned signature
5. If you belong to a reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PwD)
6. Valid Photo ID
7. Other Relevant Certificates (if applicable).

3. Log in to your account and fill in the online application form
4. Upload the necessary documents
5. Pay the application fee using the available online payment options
6. After filling in all the required details and uploading the documents, submit the application form.
7. After successful submission, download and print the confirmation page for your records.
