AP TET Notification July 2024: Online Application, Exam Dates, and Registration Procedure
The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, has released the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) notification for July 2024. AP TET 2024 will be conducted from October 3 to October 20, 2024. Interested candidates can apply for the AP TET exam 2024 via the official portals, cse.ap.gov.in or aptet.apcfss.in, starting from July 3, 2024. The application window will close on August 3, 2024, with the payment gateway available for the same period.

The AP TET Results for the February 2024 session were released on June 25, 2024. The results are available on the official website at aptet.apcfss.in, accessible via a login link. How to Apply for APTET Notification 2024 Online
- Go to the official website of APTET (https://aptet.apcfss.in/).
- Look for the APTET 2024 notification or the link to apply online.
- Once registered, log in with the credentials provided during registration.
- You may need to upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, educational certificates, and any other documents as required.
- Pay the application fee through the online payment gateway.
- Before final submission, review all the details filled in the application form and uploaded documents carefully.
- After successful submission, take a printout of the completed application form for your reference.
APTET 2024 - Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for AP TET-JULY-2024 must meet the minimum qualifications specified for Paper-1A and Paper-1B (for teaching classes I to V) and Paper-2A and Paper-2B (for teaching classes VI to VIII), as outlined in the Information Bulletin. Those who are in the final semester of any Teacher Education Course recognized by the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) or the RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) are also eligible to appear for APTET-JULY-2024.
It is important to note that merely appearing for or passing the AP TET does not automatically entitle a candidate to be considered for a teaching position in Government, Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad, Municipal, AP Model School, Welfare Schools, Society Schools, Private Un-aided, or Private Aided Schools under the jurisdiction of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. To be eligible for such appointments, candidates must meet the qualifications specified in the relevant statutory recruitment rules established by the State Government or by the respective management as of the date specified therein. Additionally, candidates must pass the Teacher Eligibility Test. The specific qualifications required for AP TET-JULY-2024 are detailed in the Information Bulletin.
Applications for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET-2024) are now being accepted online. This test is for individuals aspiring to become teachers in schools managed by various authorities including the State Government, rural and urban local bodies, A.P. Model Schools, welfare societies, Private Aided Schools, and Private Un-aided Schools in Andhra Pradesh, covering classes I to VIII.
Examination FEE:
The application submission fee for the Computer Based Examination is Rs. 750/- per paper for Paper-1A, Paper-1B, Paper-2A, and Paper-2B. Candidates must pay the fee through the payment gateway between 03.07.2024 and 16.07.2024. The online application can be submitted on the APTET website (http://cse.ap.gov.in) from 04.07.2024 to 17.07.2024.
Note: If a candidate holding both D.EI.Ed (general/special) and B.Ed (general/special) qualifications wishes to apply for all papers, they must pay Rs. 750 for each paper individually.
Procedure for submission of application online:
The Information Bulletin contains a detailed procedure for applying online. Candidates can download the Information Bulletin for free from the APTET website (http://cse.ap.gov.in) starting from July 2, 2024. The online application submission period is from July 4, 2024, to July 17, 2024. Once an application is submitted, no modifications or edits will be allowed.
