CBSE NEET-UG 2017 Counselling Procedure:

The counseling procedure is organized in two rounds. The procedure of NEET online counseling is mentioned below:

Online Registration: To participate in NEET counseling, the candidate has to register themselves by filling their basic details. Without registration, candidates will not able to participate in the counseling procedure. After registration, candidates will get a unique USER ID & PASSWORD in registered email Id & mobile number. Candidates have to register with the given user id & password for further procedure.

Choice Filling & Locking: Now, candidates have to select the medical/dental colleges & courses as per their preference. After final selection, candidates have to click on “Save” button & lock their choices. It is necessary to lock the choices.

Result Declaration: Candidates will receive a SMS or email related to the allotted course & colleges after a few days of the counseling process. The seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of rank & opted choice of colleges.

Reporting to the Allotted College: After result declaration, the candidates should report to the allotted college and confirm their seat by paying the course fee. In case, the candidate failed to report in the allotted college at the given time frame the seats will be given to the next candidate.

NEET Admission:

After getting seat, candidates have to report at the allotted college within a given time period. During admission, candidates have to bring their original documents for verification. In case, candidates fails to join at the allotted medical/dental college within a stipulated time, then candidates seat will be cancelled & candidates will not be eligible for further rounds of counseling.

Documents required at the time of Admission:

Here, we have updated the list of documents needed at the time of admission. Candidates have to bring their original documents (along with attested photocopies of documents).

·         High School & Intermediate Mark Sheets

·         High School & Intermediate Passing Certificate

·         NEET 2017 Admit Card

·         NEET 2017 Rank Card/Rank Letter

·         Category Certificate (If Applicable)

·         Birth Certificate

·         Eight Passport size photograph (Six)

·         Provisional Allotment Letter

·         Identity Proof
