1.What are the benefits of COMEDK?
Ans:The primary benefit of COMEDK is that it is open to students of other states also. Hence, students from other states also stand a promising chance of studying in Karnataka. Karnataka is renowned for its distinctive engineering colleges.
2.Can I get admission in PES through COMEDK?
Ans:PES University doesn`t take admissions through COMEDK. It takes admissions only through CET(Common Entrance Test-Karnataka) and PESSAT(PES Student Aptitude Test). The syllabus for both the tests are same but PESSAT has English as an additional subject.
3.How many students participate in COMEDK?
Ans:A total of 61, 635 candidates had registered for the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) in 2022. The examination was held online across 230 test centers in 154 cities.
4.What is the minimum marks to qualify for COMEDK exam?
Ans:Candidates who have passed a 10+3 diploma with mathematics as the compulsory subject can also appear for the COMEDK UGET examination. Students must have 50% minimum aggregate marks (45% for SC, ST, & OBC of Karnataka).
5.Is there negative marking in COMEDK?
